Vegan Peanut Butter Ice Cream

4 ripe frozen bananas, peeled

1/4 cup Biona organic smooth, roasted & salted peanut butter

1/4 - 1/2 cup chocolate chips or shaved chocolate (optional)


1.) Place the bananas in a food processor or high powered blender.  Blend on high, scraping down the edges of the bowl until the ice cream is creamy, about 2-3 minutes. Add the peanut butter and blend until combined.

2.) Scape the ice cream into a medium sized bowl or bread pan and stir in the optional chocolate chips. You can either eat it right away or you can freeze it for up to an hour. (You can freeze it longer than an hour but it won't be as creamy)
