Vegetarian Chilli:


- 2 cans Biona Organic Red Kidney Beans 

- 2 tbsp Biona Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil 

- 1 large chopped onion 

- 2 cloves crushed garlic 

- 1-2 tsp cayenne pepper 

- 1 tsp cumin 

- 1 tsp turmeric 

- 2 red peppers, chopped 

- 1 courgette chopped 

- 1-2 celery stalks chopped 

- 2 carrots chopped 

- 150g chopped mushrooms 

- 2 cans Biona Organic Chopped Tomatoes 

- 1 heaped tbsp Biona Organic Tomato Puree 

- 300ml vegetable stock 

- salt & pepper to season 



1. Heat the olive oil in a pan and add the onion and garlic, along with the cayenne pepper, cumin and turmeric. Cook until the onion has softened. 

2. Add the chopped vegetables and cook for 5-10 minutes, stirring regularly. Mix in the chopped tomatoes, vegetable stock and tomato puree, bring to the boil and allow to simmer for 30 minutes. Add the red kidney beans and cook for a further 5 minutes. Season to taste and serve with wholegrain brown rice or quinoa.
