Easy Quinoa 


90g/ 3oz of BiOFAIR Quinoa Grain or BiOFAIR Quinoa Tricolore Grain

Double the amount of water of stock (e.g. if using 180g quinoa, use 350ml liquid)

1/2-1 tsp mixed dried herbs

1/2-1 tsp cinnamon

Black pepper (and salt to taste)



1.  Wash and rinse the quinoa then dry roast it in a heavy bottomed saucepan for a minute or two, stirring constantly.

2.  Add the liquid, herbs and cinnamon, bring to the boil and simmer for 20-25 minutes, or until tender (and white tails of the quinoa show).

3.  Stir occasionally.  Add a little more liquid if it starts to dry out and stir well.

4.  Remove from the heat and allow to stand for 5 minutes or until all liquid is absorped.
